My works suggest realities, though sometimes uneasy, using paint, paper, trinkets, orbs, bullets and less likely things like shred.
My art impulses hopefully force a dialogue and create pauses for viewers that translate through the application of paint on canvas or paper or perhaps through an art installation. Music always plays its role with which I create interlocking layers in many of my works.
Empathy for people manifests in many themes: migration, war and destruction. The re-generation of the earth and always the prevailing preciousness of water and air emerge as constant subjects.
“Through my work, I hope to open viewers to an opportunity to engage and that they will move around in a gallery space and will carry away shared dialogues as they go.”
